Hannah Brigham
Swim Wild Academy Instructor
I grew up in Peterborough and competed for my local swimming club at regional level, both in the pool and in open water. I was inspired to become a swimming teacher after coaching the younger swimmers in the club and I now have 6 years swimming teaching experience of all levels and ages.
Since moving down to Cornwall to study at Falmouth University, I have fallen in love with the sea and the outdoor lifestyle. I have recently re-discovered my love of swimming and go sea swimming regularly. I believe swimming and water safety skills are essential and that every person should have the opportunity to learn. I love to share the joy and excitement of swimmers as they progress and achieve beyond their expectations.
In my spare time I enjoy surfing, walking the coastal path and playing beach volleyball. I also volunteer with the Wave Project, helping young people to learn to surf and seeing the benefits of the sea to emotional and physical wellbeing.
I look forward to supporting your journey to learn to swim 😊
