Ella Tolliday

Swim Wild Academy Instructor

Hello! I am originally from Suffolk but have been living in Falmouth while completing my degree in Human Sciences. Growing up in a small costal town meant that Cornwall very quickly felt like home to me and having now graduated, i’m living here permanently!

Swimming has been a key part of my life since before I could walk, having sped through my Learn to Swim stages and quickly entering the world of competitive swimming. I competed for over 12 years, training six times a week to a National standard. Other than swimming I am an absolute lover of all things water, including surfing, free diving, rock pooling and coasteering. Being a beach lifeguard means I am incredibly aware of the importance in developing water confidence and fundamental skills as soon as possible, especially for kids in Cornwall! I pride myself with taking every child as they come, being very patient and understanding of the challenges in learning to swim. I love to make my lessons fun and engaging while also focusing on technique and stroke progression.

See you in the pool!
